Professor Lynette Ryals OBE has been appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Faculty of Business and Management (FBaM) at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½. She will take up the role from 3 March 2025.
A highly respected academic leader, Lynette previously served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ and was appointed Director of Cranfield School of Management in 2017. She became Pro-Vice-Chancellor for MK:U in 2019, leading the development of a new model of higher education provision for Milton Keynes in close collaboration with businesses, industry stakeholders and the local authority.
Professor Ryals said: "I’m delighted to be taking this role and look forward to leading the faculty in its next stage of development. I’m excited to build on the great work of the team and the progress made under David Oglethorpe’s leadership."
Lynette succeeds Professor David Oglethorpe, who will focus on his role as Pro-Vice-Chancellor – International and Student Recruitment until his planned retirement at the end of the academic year.
