Background
Dr. Nitin Baby is a Research Fellow in Cryogenic Systems with the Low Emissions Technologies and Combustion (LETC) Group at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½. His research focuses on liquid hydrogen storage systems for aviation applications. Before joining Cranfield, he worked at Airbus, contributing to the Fuel Systems team on the A350 and A320 ACJ programs. He holds a PhD in Cryogenic Engineering from the Cryogenic Engineering Center at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where his research focused on enhancing liquid cryogen storage systems. He holds an M.Tech. in Thermal Power Engineering and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.
Current activities
Nitin has joined the LETC Group as a Research Fellow in Cryogenic Systems, where he is contributing to the TARGETH2 project. His work focuses on designing and developing experimental test rigs for evaluating liquid hydrogen storage and distribution systems.
