Jimsquad is a group of over 25 paddlers from the Eastern and Southern suburbs of Sydney. The group consists of paddlers of all levels from Australian representatives and national champions to those just starting out.
Under the guidance of former Olympic Kayaker Jim Walker, the squad trains 11 times per week with all paddling sessions conducted at either the Cooks River in Sydney’s South or Bondi Beach in the East. Jimsquad also do a variety of cross training sessions at Centennial Park and the famous Bondi Beach.
The 2008/09 season was the most successful on record for Jimsquad.
